About Maia

I have been a caregiver for children of all ages for over 15 years. I am here to assist and follow your direction so that the transition from my presence in the home, to your family time, is as cohesive and copacetic as possible. I maintain a safe and stimulating environment that centers around creative expression and outside adventure activities. By striking a keen balance between allowing children to learn on their own and stepping in appropriately to offer guidance and direction, I offer children a means to develop safely and with confidence. I'm a licensed diver with a Subaru and clean record. I have swim instruction, tutoring and classroom experience. For the better part of the last year, I have worked as a family support counselor serving families with internal family system counseling, specializing as a behavioral analyst serving community youth with varying degrees of high acuity needs. I am bilingual in English and Spanish - English being my mother language.
