About Maiyah

Hi! I'm Maiyah, a nursing student who enjoys working with kids and creating a safe, positive environment where they feel comfortable and supported. I'm responsible, patient, dependable, and value building strong relationships with both children and their families. I've worked with kids through summer camps, tutoring, volunteering, and nannying. These experiences have made me confident with all ages--whether that's keeping kids engaged in fun activities, helping with homework, or being a calm, steady presence when needed. I'm adaptable and always try to match each child's energy and needs. My nursing background has given me a strong understanding of child development, health, and safety, and has taught me how to stay calm and thoughtful in any situation. Families can count on me to be reliable, attentive, and easy to communicate with. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where kids can thrive and parents feel at ease.
