About Makayla

I have extensive nannying experience providing attentive, safety-focused care for a premature newborn from 2-7 months old while also supervising two additional children, ages 2 and 4. I developed and implemented age-appropriate schedules based on both chronological and adjusted developmental milestones, supported by independent research on premature infant development and sleep routines. I successfully introduced and maintained sleep training, improving consistency and overall sleep quality. I also managed children's laundry, meal prep, and household organization to create a structured, smoothly running home. As a swim coach, I led structured practices and assisted with lessons, building strong relationships with parents and students.
