About Makayla

I'd describe my personality as fun, patient and loving. I enjoy working with kids because it's something new and exciting everyday. I have worked in childcare for years now and I always look forward to the excitement children bring. I also find it inspiring to be able to help and educate the youth. As I am a mother as well, I am looking for a job that allows me to bring my 2-year-old son along with me some days when needed. I am comfortable with watching 4 children at most and any age. I was a toddler teacher at The Global Child for over a year and now I'm currently a mentor for Dcf children. I teach girls basketball for an after school program at two different elementary schools but as that's coming to an end I'm looking for more hours :) I am CPR and First Aid certified as well. I absolutely love working with children, it is truly the most rewarding job. I will treat your children as if they were my own, and the safety and happiness of your child is my number one priority!
