About Makenzie

Hello there! My name is MaKenzie and I'm a Senior at Alfred University. My major is in Early Childhood Education (to become an elementary teacher), along with a minor in Psychology! I have been on high honor roll throughout all of high school while being a dual sport athlete in soccer, basketball, and track. I did cheerleading for a little bit too! I've been babysitting children ever since I was 12 years old! The ages of these children ranged from newborns to 15-year-olds. Some children had special needs, children who needed someone to play games with them, children who needed extra help with school, children with curious minds, etc. Ever since I was little, I've loved caring for children, and that's how babysitting came along. As I got older, I realized that making an impact on their lives became so important to me, which is why I'm becoming a teacher!
