About Makenzie

I have over four years of experience caring for children of all ages, from infants through teens, including experience working with children in special education. I'm passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where every child can feel comfortable being themselves. I understand that every child has different needs, routines, communication styles, and abilities, and I'm patient and flexible in adapting my approach. I enjoy keeping kids engaged through imaginative play, outdoor activities, board games, crafts, and educational activities. I'm comfortable caring for up to four children and always follow each family's routines, rules, and preferences. Communication with parents is important to me. I'm happy to provide daily reports, text or phone updates, and check-ins at pickup. I am also CPR and First Aid certified. My goal is to be someone your family can feel comfortable with, trust, and rely on.
