About Makenzie

Hello! My name is Makenzie, and I have over five years of experience working with children and their families. I have a Diploma in Preschool Education as well as three semesters of Early Childhood Education coursework, which has given me additional knowledge of child development, age-appropriate activities, routines, and ways to support children through the different stages of their early years. I want parents to feel comfortable knowing their children are with someone who will care for them, keep them safe, and make their time together enjoyable. It's incredibly rewarding to watch them learn new things, gain confidence, reach milestones, and get excited about the little things. I especially enjoy creating activities, playing outside, doing crafts, reading, and finding fun ways to keep children engaged rather than simply keeping them occupied. In my spare time, I enjoy photography, boating, camping, going to church, spending time outdoors, and being with my friends and family.
