I have wanted to work with kids for as long as I can remember. My mother is a teacher and I followed in her footsteps. I'm going to school for Early Education and have been working at a daycare for the last five years. I love watching as the kids grow into their own person and it makes me happy to be able to help them on that journey. I'm looking for a job that will allow me to grow as a person and as a childcare provider. I started working with kids when I was 13. I went to a hospital and got my CPR certification and immediately started babysitting around the neighborhood. I am almost 25 now and have been working with kids ever since. In my spare time, I like to read or binge a good show. I have been working in a daycare for the last five and a half years and been the lead 2-year-old teacher for three. I have worked with every age group (from newborn to fifth grade). My skills include lesson planning, quick problem solving skills and communication with parents and students.

This review is very special to me because Mackenzie was such an important part of our family. She cared for our two children as if they were her own. One thing we especially loved was that, as a former Pre-K teacher, she was always coming up with fun, educational activities to keep them engaged. She was incredibly kind, patient, and loving. Our kids would actually cry when it was time for her to leave—that’s how much they adored her. We only had to say goodbye because we moved to another city. Otherwise, I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to have her care for our children again. I wholeheartedly recommend Mackenzie to any family. She is wonderful with children of all ages, and I truly can’t recommend her enough.
