About Makya

Nurturing young minds is truly my passion. My positive experiences babysitting sparked a desire to positively impact children's lives, leading me to three years of dedicated childcare as an assistant daycare teacher, responsible for children between 3 months and 6 years of age. Previous experience also including regularly babysitting elementary aged children. I hold certifications in First Aid Training and CPR Training, and I have lots of experience in Early Childhood Education (ECE). My approach is patient, calm, creative, and friendly. I enjoy playing outdoor games, board games, puzzles, and educational games with children. I am comfortable caring for up to three children at a time and happy to help with cooking, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. I communicate with parents at the end of the day and follow their preferred communication method. I'm also very comfortable enforcing household rules.
