About Maleaha

Hello! My name is Maleaha. I am a licensed social worker with a graduate degree. I've been working with children in various settings since 2014, including summer camps and nannying within the home. I'm highly educated in child development and familiar with local services, resources, and opportunities for children and families. While I love my work as an Advanced Practice Social Worker, I am interested in a change of pace, building a solid and comfortable working relationship with a family in the community. I'd describe my personality as quirky, organized, and dependable. I find it so meaningful to create a safe space for kids wherein they feel comfortable making mistakes, being silly, and trying new things. Open communication, sustainability, and a relatively consistent routine. I like to paint, spend time outside, work on various crafts and DIYs, read, and exercise! One thing you should know about me is I think fast on my feet and am good in a crisis.
