About Malia

Inspired by my mother's fulfilling career in nursing; since the age of 18, I've dedicated myself to helping others. Caring for my father and brother, both of whom have Huntington's Disease, has been challenging yet rewarding since I spend more time with them now, than I ever did. I have 2. 5 years of experience caring for children from the ages 0-11, IF you don't count helping my sister raise my niece & nephew lol (: If you do then I have 5 years of experience. I'm comfortable caring for up to two children at a time. I'm creative, friendly, and adaptable. I also consider myself to have a bubbly personality. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, puzzles, and educational games. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I always follow the parents' instructions and preferred communication methods to ensure everyone is comfortable and informed. I do have a car with full coverage insurance, and can easily get around. I look forward to possibly bringing my energy and care to your family.
