About Malik

I recently graduated from the University of California, where I received my B. S. in psychology with a minor in neuroscience, sociology, and education. My passions lie in education development, community advocacy, mental health, and wellness. Through work experience and education, I have trained and challenged myself in trauma-informed practices, early childhood development, curriculum building, and STEAM lesson planning, youth behavioral and cognitive development, I have held positions in afterschool care, tutoring, educational assistance, preschool teacher, and youth behavior specialists. I have a professional understanding of social-emotional learning and early child and adolescent development. I love creating and utilizing outside spaces for educating youth and creating enrichment activities. I also use art, cooking, games to help build social-emotional skills and ensure maximum fun. I can do meal prep, light housekeeping, drop-offs, and pickups, and even run errands.
