Experience: 20 yrs
Hi, I'm Mandy! I'm 42 and a proud mother of three. I've worked in healthcare for nearly 20 years, including 19 years as a CNA. For the past 8 years, I've specialized in palliative and hospice care, with the last 4 focused primarily on hospice. My CNA certification is active, and I'm CPR and First Aid certified. I hold an Associate's Degree in Early Education and am completing my Medical Administrative Assistant certification. I've also worked as a case manager and was previously MAP certified to administer medications. I'm dependable, honest, compassionate, and intentional in my care. I believe caregiving is about more than tasks--it's about treating each person with dignity, patience, and respect while helping them feel safe, comfortable, and valued. I take pride in being someone families can trust.
We had the absolute pleasure of having Mandy as a caregiver for our elderly mother, and her care exceeded every expectation. From day one, it was clear that Mandy brings deep experience, professionalism, and a heartfelt dedication to her work. One of Mandy’s greatest strengths is her ability to balance assistance with independence. She instinctively knew when to her own—always with dignity, patience, and respect. Mandy also has a solid understanding of medical issues and elder care protocols. She was always on top of medications, watchful for any changes in health, and proactive in communicating with us. Knowing Mandy was there gave us real peace of mind. Beyond her skills and knowledge, Mandy has a gift for connecting with people. She brought warmth, kindness, and humor into our home, quickly forming a genuine bond with our mother. She made not just the practical aspects of care easier, but also added joy and companionship to each day. It’s rare to find someone with both the technical expertise and the emotional intelligence that Mandy has. She’s a true professional, a compassionate human being, and a remarkable caregiver. We feel incredibly lucky to have had her in our lives and recommend her without reservation to anyone looking for elder care.
