About Mara

I graduated from UNC Chapel Hill in 2019, where I studied linguistics, speech and hearing sciences and cognitive science. I have six years of childcare experience, primarily caring for children ages 3 months to 6 years, as well as a teen with cerebral palsy. As a caregiver, I'm dependable, nurturing, and attentive to routines, safety, and each child's developmental needs. I love reading with children, spending time outdoors, and encouraging creativity, curiosity and learning through everyday activities. I'm expecting a baby boy in early September and am looking for a position that would allow me to bring him with me starting in December or January. My goal is to provide the same attentive, reliable care while respecting your family's routines and prioritizing your child's needs and schedule.
