About Marceia

Hello, my name is Marcy! I am a PSU alumni with a bachelor's degree in psychology and a minor in child maltreatment and advocacy studies. I prefer the Montessori-inspired or child-led learning approaches but ultimately follow parental preference. I have over 12 years of experience working with children. I am a former assistant group supervisor who has worked with children ranging in ages 0-15 years, was a full-time nanny for three years, and am currently a school-based behavioral health technician working with kids ages 5-18 with behavioral/mental health needs. I have previous training in first-aid as well as CPR. I am educated in child development and childrearing practices. I do not smoke and have my own transportation. My rates are negotiable depending on whether the family is comfortable with me bringing my 4-year-old son.
