About Marcela

Experience: 4 yrs

Nurturing children comes naturally to me, and I have 3 years of experience caring for little ones aged 4 months to 5 years old. I'm on maternity leave until Jan. 2027 and would like to become a nanny when my leave is over. I have daughter of my own that is currently 2 months old that I would need to bring with me. Aside from my own child, my previous babysitting/child care roles showed me the positive impact I could have on a child's life, and I am eager to support families by providing reliable care. I am patient, creative, and happy to follow your lead regarding household rules. While working as a teacher I have communicated through verbal updates at pickup and written daily reports. I have some early childhood coursework, and First Aid & CPR Training. Knowing I can make a family's day a little easier brings me joy!

Marcela is a wonderful caretaker for young kids. She watched my 2-3 year old for over a year. She is caring and gentle. She also was great at helping a young child identify emotions and strategies to calm down. She always went above and beyond, even came to my daughters birthday party which made her feel incredibly special. I would highly recommend her for child care.
