About Marcella

Hi! My name is Marcella, pronounced like cello the instrument. I am 22 years old, and a 2026 graduate from Virginia Tech with my bachelor's degree in psychology. I plan on being as a child psychologist and in the meantime, want to work with kids until I reach that goal. I have worked with 6-week-old infants up to young adults. My current job is working as a pediatric behavior technician, which is implementing behavior plans for children with autism. I absolutely love this job and the challenges that come with it! Finding out what works best for each kiddo to reach new milestones is such a satisfying experience. When it comes to having to get unfavorable tasks done, I like to make it playful and engaging. I was raised in a very creative environment and love to encourage fun activities and crafts, reading stories or making up our own, and listening to music and dancing out our energy! I would love to have the opportunity to work for you and be a positive influence for your child.
