I'd describe my personality as determined, patient, understanding and compassionate. I like caring for seniors because I enjoy helping people stay home as long as they can. I also find it a lot of fun and very educational. After helping care for 3 elderly women in my neighborhood a friend asked me to help care for an Aunt. That was 23 yrs ago and I have loved every minute. In my spare time, I like to read, garden, walk, watch old biblical movies and cook. One thing you should know about me is I will do almost anything to help an elder remain at home as long as possible. My skills include helping with daily personnal care, helping senior continue to live as independantly as possible, keeping senoir safe, I am well versed in emergencies and have a quick but soft and calm responce. Cooking, light cleaning, general housekeeping.
