About Maren

I am a recent graduate of Teachers College at Columbia University with a Master of Arts in Teaching as Applied Behavior Analysis. Prior to that, I studied Rehabilitation Psychology and Special Education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and received my B. S. degree. I have over 5 years of experience working with students with and without disabilities in clinic, home, and school settings. The past two years, during my masters program, I have worked as a student teacher in grades Pre-K to fifth. I am in the process of applying for the following certifications: Licensed Behavior Analyst Board Certified Behavior Analyst Birth-2 General Education Birth-2 Special Education I am hoping to have these certifications complete by the fall. During my time teaching, I have provided direct applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism and other pervasive developmental disorders. I have also taught the ELA and Math curriculum in both NY and NJ elementary schools.
