About Margaret

Hello, My name is Margaret and I live in Tampa. I've been in Florida for 20 years, I recently moved to New Tampa for about 2 years ago. I have four adult children, two are teachers in a county school. My youngest daughter works as a social worker and my son resides in Daytona Beach, where he works in transportation. When my children were younger I worked for a county school. Before I gained employment with them I volunteered in the media center. I enjoyed the atmosphere, interacting with the students and teachers so much that I decided to apply as a food and nutrition assistant. After 2 years of working in that position, I decided to continue employment with the county, however, leave that position for increased pay as a bus driver. I worked in that position for 7 years. I then went on to work as a direct caregiver, from there I worked for a Veteran Nursing Home as a dietary aide. During those time I worked as a caregiver from 2007 until 2013. As you can see my relevant experience has been working with the elderly and children. The reason I enjoy working with children and the elderly is because I was raised by my grandmother and I helped care for her once she was unable to do so herself. I also cared for other elderly family members and friends. I have been able to meet their needs while caring for them because I have my CNA license and the caring part comes naturally. I am currently in the process of renewing it. During emergency situations I am very calm, clear minded and react in a rational manner. As an employee, I will follow all direct orders from employer and be someone they can trust and depend on. Overall, I'm trustworthy, honest, loyal and a hard worker.
