About Margaret

As a seasoned, educated caregiver to kids of all ages, I understand that children and adults alike need a robust, adaptable support system to thrive. To me, this means being a respectful, experienced, humble caregiver with an open mind and eyes in the back of my head. I take an approach to childcare that is engaging, observant, and development-minded. While my childcare approach is Montessori-informed, I firmly believe that there is no one school of thought that yields guarantees -- kids are full of surprises, but I'm ready. I have a psychology degree and love to stay up on the latest research on development, parenting, and family systems, but health, safety, and well-beinhg always come first. I currently nanny for a family on weekday mornings. I am available to babysit, and potentially for afternoon nannying work. My skills include emotional regulation modeling/coaching, subject matter expertise in child development, complex problem solving, and safe adventuring. Let's talk!
