About Margaret

I am a soon to be PhD graduate in biomedical science from Temple University. I have eight siblings that I helped raise and have experience in paid childcare. I have teaching and tutoring experience as well. I'd describe my personality as talkative, funny, and smart. I like working with kids because I come from a big family and believe that proper childhood development is critical I started working with kids when I was 10 years old. I cared for my four younger siblings (aged newborn-9 years old) throughout their adolescence. In high school and college I began to babysit for neighbors and family friends. In my spare time I like to run, go to concerts, thrift, and play basketball with my sisters. I also recently got into skating which is a new and fun hobby :) One thing you should know about me is I really value child safety and education. As a PhD scientific researcher, I believe in the importance of a child's right to education especially in writing and science.
