About Margaret

First and foremost, I am the eldest and only daughter, with three younger brothers. I also have two golden retrievers at home, so pet care is a bonus if needed. Although I've never been a paid tutor, my passion lies in kids' growth in their schoolwork and education. In high school, I tutored Spanish kids in Math and English, specifically ELA, Elementary Math, and Algebra. Through my previous work as a summer day camp counselor in Hershey, I've enjoyed teaching school age children crafts, such as origami, participating in physical activities, and assisting with homework. My favorite things about tutoring and childcare are developing mentor-student relationships and answering unfiltered questions. Kids are brilliant, and I'll live by that statement. I'm comfortable working 40 hours a week, excluding weekends, and my pay rates start at $20/hour. Additional pet care is $12/hour per animal.
