About Margaret

Hello! I am a longtime nonprofit professional taking a break from my traditional employment to care for my children and think through my next steps. During this period of transition, I stumbled into caregiving for an aging neighbor and then my father, following a stroke. I found the experience of both profoundly rewarding, both caring for my neighbor until her death and caring for my father throughout his recovery. I am looking to add caregiving to my schedule during the hours my children are at school. My strengths include a talent for communication and conversation, an ability to advocate for others in a variety of settings, including medical, a desire to engage others in necessary tasks including exercise like neighborhood walks, and a deep love for meal prep and cooking healthy, culturally appropriate meals.
