About Margarette

Three words that describe my personality are patient, calm, and reliable. I like working with kids because kids always surprise me with the silly and insightful things they have to say. I'm looking for a job that will be stable but flexible. I have worked with kids my whole life. Because both of my parents and my sibling are teachers, I have spent years in their classrooms helping out with lessons, art projects, and keeping kids calm and organized during stressful situations like fire and lockdown drills. In my spare time, I like to swim, play musical instruments, and do crafts such as painting, sewing, and crocheting. One thing you should know about me is that every member of my immediate family is an elementary school teacher. Because of this, I have lots of classroom and one-on-one experience with kids age 5-12. My skills include redirecting big emotions, keeping the energy fun and light, and positively enforcing boundaries.
