We were so lucky to meet Maria. My 97 year old mother and I (her daughter) came down to Florida to escape the Ohio winter for the month of March. As I was going to be here alone with Mom, I needed some help with respite care a few times/week. Additionally I needed to be away for some short trips and needed someone to stay overnight with Mom. Maria willingly took on the job, even though it was very short-term. She has so many wonderful qualities: she is very calm, kind, and competent, and her gentle manner made my mom feel very comfortable. She's also very observant, with a really nice sense of humor, and has an intuitive sense of what is needed both with my mom and with her family. We have been so grateful for how flexible she has been with our scheduling, often being willing to stay very late into the morning hours when my flight got delayed and I couldn't get home. You can count on Maria being very professional and punctual and skilled. Lucky the families who will receive her help!
