About Maria

I am a student at University of Southern Maine, I am studying speech pathology, with a double minor in deaf studies and American Sign Language. I work at a middle school in southern maine, as an ed tech in special education and subbing for the district; I unfortunately, I'm not going back this year to continue my education. I have worked with kids mostly from 5-14 years old mostly, but I am still comfortable with younger children; I have a 1 year nephew who is my mini best friend and help with him a lot. I love the outdoors, cooking, exercising / exploring, and making fun activities and memories with kids. I have background in food and meal prep, and lots of sports and coaching. I coach 7th (and soon to be 8th grade) soccer and softball. I like being in energetic, fun, and learning environments. My ideal schedule right now is MON, WED, FRI 6:00am-8:00 p.m. (flexible with days and times depending on needs, but I do have classes on Tuesday and Thursdays)
