My name is María. I became a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Medication Administration Technician because I have a deep vocation for caring for older adults with dignity, respect, and compassion. I have over two years of experience providing personalized care in various settings. I worked as a private caregiver (July 2023 - June 2025), assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility, monitoring vital signs, and providing emotional support. Currently, I work evenings at an assisted living facility (since July 2025), where I administer medications, care for multiple residents, follow infection control protocols, and report any changes in their health status. I am bilingual (Spanish and basic English), which allows me to communicate effectively with residents and their families.
