About Maria

I'm a passionate, friendly, and experienced childcare provider with 14 years of experience helping children learn, grow, and thrive. My positive experiences in previous babysitting roles and my personal passion for fostering children's growth motivated me to become a caregiver. I believe in open and honest communication with parents and always follow their preferred method to discuss their child's day or any issues that arise. I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules and enjoy playing a variety of games with children, including board games, puzzles, educational games, and technology-based games and apps. I'm also comfortable supervising children while swimming. I'm fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, and I'm happy to help with cooking, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. I'm CPR-trained, and I'm always looking for new opportunities to learn and grow as a childcare provider.
