About Maria

Hi! My name is Maria. I am an experienced and compassionate childcare professional with over 6 years of experience supporting children and families through a large-scale after-school program in the Silicon Valley. I am dedicated to creating safe, nurturing, and engaging environments where children can learn, grow and thrive. I have a strong background in behavior support, communication with families and individualized childcare. I come with lots of creative ideas when it comes to keeping children entertained whether it's arts/crafts, outdoor play, science activities, or "quiet time". Supporting children socially/emotionally is one of my biggest strengths, while maintaining a consistent and predictable environment. I am looking forward to transitioning from managing a program for many families to providing personalized, dependable care for one family in a dedicated Nanny or Mother's Helper role.
