When I hired Maria, I was looking for someone to help me around the house since I had a newborn. Maria mainly helped me clean and cook for the first month and the plan was to later transition her to a full time Nanny job to take care of my little one. As a cook, Maria is incredible. All the dishes she made were delicious and she was very efficient at cooking and cleaning. You can tell she has a passion for the kitchen and both my husband and I were very happy with her meal preps. When the time came to take over the baby, I started giving her a bit of responsibility with the baby every week so I could train her; she was very honest saying she didn't have experience with newborns. Unfortunately, a week before starting my job, I didn't feel she was ready to take over my baby's responsibilities full time so I decided to push for another option on child care. I would rehire Maria to help us meal prep but not as a full time nanny of a newborn.
