About Maria

I'd describe my personality as friendly, caring, outgoing and dependable. I like working with children because they are unique and genuine. I also like working with children because I am by nature a nurturing person. Additionally, I believe that I can contribute in a positive way to their development and by doing so, contribute to the next generation. I have worked or taken care of children since I was very young as I am the second oldest of 6 children. My previous work experience with children includes: Nanny, daycare lead teacher, elementary teacher assistant, Sunday school teacher, and babysitter. I also took care of nieces, nephews, friends' children and my two daughters. I love spending time with family and friends. I also enjoy cooking, baking, dancing and I occasionally watch movies. One thing you should know about me is that I am hardworking, caring, thoughtful, and like helping others. Some of my skills include: patience, compassion, bilingual - English & Spanish.
