I have pet sat for years caring for domestic, as well as, farm animals. I prefer to just do domestic cats and dogs. I don't take care of snakes. I usually make 3 visits per day lasting 30 minutes each for one price. It doesn't matter to me what needs to be done as long as I can do it in 30 minutes. The number of pets doesn't matter either. I require a run-through visit so I can determine the time it will take me to do all the necessary tasks. I will feed, water, walk, clean litter pans, retrieve mail/paper, bring garbage curb side, water plants/gardens and turn lights on/off and open/closed drapes. I can even bring different vehicles and stagger the times a little to ward off any possible thieves stalking the neighborhood. I could also stay overnight if it would give you peace of mind, but I don't usually do that and I'm not sure what to charge for that.
