About Mariah

Hello, I'm Mariah! I am an experienced childcare professional looking for a part time summer position while on summer break from my Yale MFA in Acting, but have previously worked as the Learning and Development Manager and Teacher for an early childhood program based on the Reggio Emilia approach. I graduated from Northwestern, where I studied Psychology (with focus on cognitive science) and Theatre. In my experience in nannying and childcare, I have taken classes and professional development courses in early childhood development, classroom management, developmental activities, ServSafe Food Handling and Preparation, CPR/First Aid and Infant CPR/FA, and also specialize in activities and educational materials for fostering positive racial identity and inclusive practices in early childhood.
