About Maria Jesus

Hi! My name is Maria. I am currently in my first year in college, where I am beginning my journey toward becoming a child psychologist. My long-term goal is to help children overcome mental health challenges. I am also a member of my college dance team. I have two years of experience caring for a 5-year-old boy. I have also done occasional babysitting for other families on an as need basis. I developed strong skills in creating a safe and fun environment. I pride myself on being a responsible, attentive, and patient babysitter, and always strive to make children feel comfortable and supported. Additionally, I completed a student teaching experience in a first-grade classroom at School One Elementary School. This opportunity allowed me support young students in their learning. I am also trilingual, fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, and I enjoy connecting with diverse families.
