About Mariana

Growing up in a big family and raised by a mother who also looked after children, I grew up observing and learning the skills it takes to take care and attend to babies/children. I first began working with children at the age of 14 when I would volunteer at a daycare. I volunteered for several years during summer/spring breaks. I have also worked with several families since I was 15 years old. I have worked with families with newborns and older children as well as with multiple children. I believe knowing CPR is especially important in this career field so I took the training and am CPR/First Aid/AED certified. And now, being a mother to a beautiful baby girl, I can finally understand the love that other mothers and fathers feel for their little ones. Motherhood has definitely helped me see life in a new perspective and also relate to other parents. It has also confirmed just how important it is to be loving and caring to babies and children.
