About Maria

I describe myself as a responsible person. I am a single mother, I have 4 children, ages 27, 24, 21, and 17. I am a grandmother of 4 grandchildren. I like cooking, driving, cleaning and I like working with elderly people, because they are vulnerable people, who need to be cared for, with love and compassion. They need to be listened to, and above all, they need to feel safe with the person who is caring for them. I like to listen to their stories or simply play music that makes their hearts happy. Maybe read to them when they ask and feed them and be patient like our parents were with us when we were little. I believe in God and attend church on Sundays, and the scriptures tell us that we should be kind and compassionate to our neighbors. I think that if God allowed me to reach an older age, I would like to be treated in the same way. I also have experience taking care of children.
