About Maria

Hi! My name is María José, and I'm a childcare provider based in East Village, San Diego. I have over 6 years of childcare experience, including working at Strauss Early Childhood Education in Tucson and providing one-on-one care for a newborn in a private home. I have experience caring for children from 6 weeks to 5 years old, supporting feeding, diaper changes, sleep routines, developmental activities, and daily care. I'm patient, dependable, attentive, and passionate about creating a safe, loving environment where children can learn and grow. I'm bilingual in English and Spanish, CPR and First Aid certified, and comfortable helping with light meal preparation and childcare related household tasks. I love incorporating creative activities, reading, and play into children's routines. My goal is to provide families with reliable, nurturing care and peace of mind knowing their little ones are in good hands. I look forward to meeting your family!
