About Maria

Hello! My name is Maria and I am excited to be available for part time child care. I am beginning my Master's Degree in School Counseling. I have extensive experience in child care and supporting the routine of a full household including cooking, cleaning, and basic household maintenance. I have a wide variety of experience with child care including working for Foster Youth and Teens in Sacramento as well as horseback riding summer camp in Maryland. I am comfortable with animals of all kinds and I am knowledgeable with taking care of cats, dogs, birds and even larger animals like horses! I am CPR and water safety certified as well as bilingual and fluent in Spanish. I am energetic, engaging, punctual and focused first and foremost on safety. Flexible availability for both short term and long term support!
