About Maria

I am a reliable, compassionate, and energetic person with 6 years of professional childcare experience in all settings, and well over a decade of personal childcare experience. Being the eldest of 18 grandchildren, caregiving has always come naturally to me. I love working with kids because they have such a wonder for the world. They are experiencing everything for the first time, so they find joy in the simplest things. My mom ran a home daycare, so I grew up around children constantly. When she decided to go back to teaching, I began my career in childcare. Over the last six years I have held many roles - nanny, household manager, coach, teacher, and family assistant. I am skilled in creating activities for kids of all age levels that keep your child safe, engaged, learning, and having fun! I am great a soothing young ones. I love to sing, and have several lullabies in my back pocket for those harder days. I am patient beyond anything.
