About Maria

I would describe myself as patient, attentive, and aware. I enjoy working with children because they are full of energy, keep things interesting, and can be incredibly sweet and welcoming. My experience caring for children began when I was about 10 years old, helping my mom care for my three younger brothers. At 18, I began working with children in the Mesa Public School District, including children with special needs. I also worked as a private nanny for about six months. I am now a stay-at-home mom to my 10-month-old daughter and am looking for an opportunity to care for my baby from home while also helping another family. I am open to in-home care, school drop-off/pick-up, or overnight care in your home. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my daughter and husband, trying new foods, hiking, and experimenting with new recipes for my family. I am CPR/First Aid certified and have my Fingerprint Clearance Card.
