About Maria

I am a retired firefighter/paramedic and have also worked in the medical field for an additional 10-15 years before that. I also have many years of caring for my own family, my grandmother and father. My father was terminal and ended up living with me for over 3 years and needed 24-hr a day care and I was his primary caretaker. My grandmother lived with me for about 4 years and I was her caretaker, as well. I also have spent the last 8 years working as a personal caregiver for clients. I know how hard it is to deal with trying to find people to come into your home that you can trust and that can be there for your loved one. Being that I dealt with that with my own family, has made be very passionate about helping others going through these difficult times. I am there for the patient, as well as the family.
