About Marisa

Caring for children is something I've always enjoyed. I love watching them learn and grow and develop their personalities. Between being an older sister, helping friends and family, and having my own child, I've helped care for children for over 15 years. In my spare time, i'm usually spending time with my daughter reading, taveling, hiking, and paddle boarding. A lot of my time is also spent gardening and tending to my plants. One thing you should know about me is that inclusitivity is important to me. My top skills include patience, listening, and understanding while still being firm with boundaries. I always try my best to breathe and stop and listen to what a child has to say. Then, try to find the best way to keep them in the moment and find a peaceful solution or coping style to move forward with.
