About Marisa

Hi my name is Marisa, I have been working with children and adults with special needs for about 5 years now and I am currenlty an ABA in a high school special education classroom. In my current role I help the kids learn and apply life skills such as basic hygiene or cleaning, working to improve independence. I also have experience going out into the community to practice skills like grocery shopping or ordering food so the kids can practice a checkout routine and learn how to handle money. I am very passionate about working with teens and adults on the spectrum because I believe they deserve the patience and encouragement to achieve their goals.
