About Marisa

Hi my name is Marisa, I have 6+ years of experience working with kids in multiple settings. I have extensive experience working to get kids outside and to foster connections to nature. I'm currently studying developmental psychology and enjoy applying age appropriate activities and interventions. I really love encouraging play, arts and crafts, and adventure with kids who I work with. I have a bachelors degree in Ecosystem Science and Sustainability and am a licensed childcare worker in the state of Washington. This means I have done extensive trainings including child and adult first aid and CPR. Most recently I have worked as a Supervisor for after school program at an Elementary school in West Seattle. I have a car and am willing to help out with shuttling kids to activities or errands. Currently, I'm available until late July for recurring care and I'm always open to stepping in for caregiver's night out! Thanks for your consideration!
