Hello Families! My name is Marissa, I am a 25-year-old born and raised New Yorker currently living in Bushwick, BK. I am also currently enrolled at Atelier Beauty to become a future esthetician! Before my enrollment this summer, I was a full time nanny for an amazing family, caring for two boys, for two school years as well as some times during the summers. My duties included, school pick up, laundry, light cleaning, homework help and meal prep. Unfortunately due to my school schedule I wasn't able to continue this school year. I still love working with children and am hoping to find something that can work along with my current schedule. I am also an artist and love incorporating that into my time with any child. Marissa rescheduled our interview three times. On all three occasions I agreed to the new time she requested and rearranged my schedule to make it work. Then she stood me up for the third (and final) time. When she reached out a half hour after our (fourth) agreed interview time, I told her that I didn't think it was worth rescheduling again because we need a reliable caregiver. Ironically, she said I wasn't "understanding to circumstances" enough even though I had changed my schedule three times to fit her needs.
