About Marissa

My name's Marissa, and currently live in Seattle, WA. I have been a nanny for over seven years. My job has included everything from potty training, grocery shopping, planning activities, laundry, providing transportation, preparing healthy lunches/snacks, packing for vacations, planning birthday parties, and creating a FUN environment. Some of my nanny traits that I feel are the most recognizable are that I'm able to communicate with children in an effective manner, extremely patient, can think outside the box, and enjoy getting creative/silly with the kids. As for virtues I'm honest, reliable, and very flexible. Some of my hobbies include crafting, cooking, salsa dancing, traveling, and watching live music. With every child I've worked with my most important job is to build confidence and demonstrate strong morals, my nanny philosophy is, "It takes a village to raise a child." For infants I have experience with nap routines, feeding, and sensory appropriate activity.
