About Marissa

Hi, I'm Marissa. Growing up with two younger sisters and a large extended family helped me discover my passion for working with children. I am very family-oriented, and my sisters are some of my closest friends. I have been babysitting for family and friends since I was 14 years old, still continuing to gain more experience caring for children of various ages now at the age of 26 years old. In addition, I worked at a small in-home daycare, providing care for children ranging from 4 months to 7 years old. I also have experience as a Behavioral Technician, where I worked with children on the autism spectrum between the ages of 2 and 10. I am currently seeking a long-term, full-time position (W-2 and PTO if possible) where I can continue making a positive impact in the lives of children and families. Alongside my professional experience, I am pursuing an online degree in Occupational Therapy, furthering my knowledge and commitment to helping others reach their full potential.
