About Mariya

Hi, My name is Mariya. I am a 4th year college student, at Sacramento State, with one year left until I receive my bachelors degree in Liberal Studies (which is a degree in education for K-8). I like working with kids because it's beautiful to see them grow and develop their personality. As a future teacher, I want to encourage them to be confident, kind, respectful, and so on. Kids deserve the proper love and care in order to become successful adults. I started working with kids when I was 15 years old. I worked at a daycare center at my church and helped with Sunday School as well. After that, I worked professionally with a childcare company, called CCCareers, at different daycare centers in the Sacramento area for over a year. In my spare time, I like to enjoy the outdoors, play some sports, sing, go to church, and spend time with friends. I have my own transportation, do not smoke, and am comfortable with pets. I can help with homework, running errands, and light housekeeping.
