About Marla

Nurturing children and watching them grow is my greatest joy. I recently retired from C Public Schools after 35 years. I had the privilege of being an educator and administrator for children 3-14 years old. I currently have the honor of babysitting my 1-year-old granddaughter a few times a month. My approach is patient, calm, creative, and friendly. I enjoy playing outdoors, board games, puzzles, and educational activities, including story time and arts and crafts. I am happy to communicate updates in your preferred method. I am comfortable caring for up to three children and can assist with cooking, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. I am a certified teacher, have my own car, and am comfortable with pets. I hope to partner with your family to provide a safe, fun, and enriching environment for your children to thrive.
